About Anthony's Bridal Boutique
Anthony's Bridal has been in business since 1988. The store began when sisters, Jo Solorzano and Theresa Gremling, decided to open a bridal shop in the Foley area. At the time, Jo was a teacher at Foley High School and dealt with proms and dances. After a mother suggested that Jo open a bridal shop so that she did not have to go to Pensacola to buy gowns for her three daughters, Anthony's Bridal was born. Theresa left the store after a few years, but now, some twenty-five years later, Jo and her son, Anthony (for whom the store is named), run the store. As a single mother, Jo stepped out in faith and left her teaching job to work full time in the shop. Anthony has grown up working in the store since its beginning when he was only seven years old. Starting with only four wedding gowns and nine bridesmaids' dresses, the business now offers a huge selection of gowns for every occasion and all the accessories for their customers. Jo and Anthony attribute their success in the store to their faith in God.
